About Us
The philosophy
finding the artwork within us
It isn’t easy to put into words what could be understand through personal physical experience.
We think of the works of art of Michelangelo and previously of Phidias.
The artist believed that the sculpture was already present inside the stone block, it just needed to be freed by removing the excess material.
Likewise, we already have innate tools to improve our lives and develop our talents. We just need to try to bring them to light, removing the superficial layer that covers and hides them.
Rediscovering the artwork within us becomes a personal journey, which should be free from the anxiety of the result or from the easy imitation of models.
The declared uncertainty does not concern the potential to obtain well-being, but rather the difficulty letting go some beliefs (superfluous stones) that have solidified over time.
Movement and awareness of our body come to help us!
We will learn how attention and observation of the way we move facilitates the reduction of excess muscular and mental tension.
The pursuit of good posture becomes more than just a physical goal, it becomes a tool for self-improvement, freeing you from obsession or perfectionism.
Just as the effectiveness of an arrow depends on the flexibility of the bow, our success relies on finding the right balance in our efforts:
- excessive muscle contraction or relaxation hinders our progress.
- excessive concentration or lack move us away from our goals.
Begin this journey with a sense of calmness and openness.
The mission
get awareness through a focus on movement
Throughout history humans developed a fascination with the harmony of the human body and they expressed it through measurements and canons to replicate the same harmony in art or daily life.
Let’s think about the work of ancient Egyptians and Greeks or figures like Polycletus, Leonardo Da Vinci, Fritsch.
They had understood how a good position of the body and a good organization of its parts brought benefits that were not only aesthetic.
Seeking a good posture (position of our bodies in space) becomes functional to obtain well-being and reach our goals.
We will help people integrate postural principles and concepts into familiar actions and exercises and daily activities.
Gradually, becoming more accustomed to paying attention to our movements, we can expand this awareness to other areas of our lives, sports, and activities.
Learned to walk now we are ready to run!
